Blije (Blija)
The reformed church of Blije was built in c. 1540 and is in Gothic style. The tower largely dates from the 13th century and was part of an earlier church.

Ferwert (Ferwerd)
Ferwert's reformed church is a big one-aised building in Gothic style. The tower was built in the 15th century, followed by the rest of the church. The upper part of the tower lost its authentic shape during a restoration in 1935.

Hallum
The reformed church
was built ca. 1300, and shows features typical for the transition from Romanesque
to Gothic, reason why it is sometimes called Romanogothic.
The northern transept-arm is a surviving part of an earlier church, the
church's former catholic name is probably St. Martinus.

Another church that is currently used as a museum is the former reformed church of Janum. This Romanogothic church was built in c. 1300 but has a Romanesque choir which is about a century older.
