Municipality in the traditionally mostly catholic Land van Maas en Waal region in the south of the province, consisting of the villages Druten, Afferden, Puiflijk, Horssen and Deest.

The catholic church H.H. Ewalden is a cruciform pseudo-basilica in Neo-Gothic style, designed by P.J.H. Cuypers and built in 1874-1877.

The reformed Immanuëlkerk is an aiseless church with early neo-Gothic details and was designed by D.A. Verbrugh, town architect of Tiel, and built in 1859-1860.

The Boldershofkapel is one of many chapels for hospitals and, as in this case, psychiatric hospitals that were designed by Ed. Cuypers and his office. The chapel was built in 1914-1915. In the 1980's the chapel was sold and has had various profane functions since.

The Gothic tower of the medieval church was built in the first half of the 15th century. As municipal property it survived when the church itself was demolished in ca. 1820.

The St. Johannes de Doper is a three-aisled hall church in neo-Gothic style, designed by C. Weber and built in 1868-1870.

Like in Puiflijk, the tower of Afferden is all that remains of a medieval church which in this case was demolished in 1838. The tower was built in the 14th century.

The St. Victor en Gezellen was also designed by C. Weber but this time he used a combination of Neo-Gothic and Neo-Romanesque styles. It was built in 1890-1891. The tower was not completed.

The O.L. Vrouw Onbevlekt Ontvangen was built in 1952-1953, replacing a neo-Gothic church which had been damaged in the war. It's a basilica in Traditionalist style, designed by H.C. van de Leur.

Of the three churches in Horssen, the St. Bonifatius is the oldest. It has a tower from the 14th century and a Gothic choir from the 15th, while the nave, despite its Romanesque appearance, is from the 19th century.
